The SHAKE Africa Project is committed to improving Cervical Cancer outcomes across Africa and the diaspora. Nigeria ranks tenth in the world for cervical cancer mortality. This is largely driven by low level awareness of HPV and cervical screening and poor cervical screening uptake.

What you need to do

1. Follow SHAKE Africa on instagram - click here for our instagram page

2. Create a sixty second video discussing the importance of the cervical smear/encouraging women to get their smear tests. Videos should be a minimum of 1 minute (60 seconds) and maximum 2 minutes (120 seconds).

3. Tag @shakeafrica in your video and use the hashtag #serviceyourcervix
​
4. Nominate at least 2 friends to get involved and tag them in the post.
​
Tip: Be as creative as possible, think outside of the box. The videos can take whatever form you like. We accept animated videos.
